2 Years Down, Forever to Go!

It's hard to believe that it was two years that we got married and six years ago when it all began. I never would have guessed that I would meet the man I was supposed to marry this early in life. My sister had always told me I'd meet him in college, but I had no idea. What's funny is that I actually saw him my last year of high school, but never would've guessed that I'd marry him. My first memory of him is as "trucker-hat boy". He had the long hair and popular (at the time), trucker type hat. My girlfriends and I thought he was super cute and pretty much fantasized about him. The next semester, my first semester of college, we officially met in a volleyball practice. He, and several other boys, were recruited to scrimmage the volleyball team and he was all smack talk. From then on, me and my best friend started hanging out with him, and just a few months later we started dating. A pretty crazy and fast start. I didn't think much of it at first, but he knew from the beginning. Let's just say, it was interesting and worth it all!
{This is only part of the story :)}

{The Beginning}

 We started dating January 2005, made it through all four years of college, both of us, and got married December 2008. You can definitely say that it was not rushed but it was all in perfect time. "I promise to love you in the good times and bad, when our love seems simple, and when it is an effort."
{The Oath}

One year wonderful year passed. We made it through some fun and fights, but we made it through. He got a new job, we got to travel together in the summer, and we bought a house. Not too many major events happened, but it was a great year. We decided to celebrate in Dallas at the Aloft hotel, Longhorn Steakhouse, Six Flags and the glorious Ikea!

{One Year Down}

Second year was definitely interesting. It was good for us, as a couple, but it had  several eventful moments. Our lovely home was broken into and we got a dog, who ended up getting parvo at 2 months old, but made it through. He makes our lives interesting for sure and he keeps us entertained. Hopefully he'll be the guard dog we want him to be. Each and every day we learn something about one another. I pray that there will never be a day when we have nothing to talk about nor nothing to learn.
